Universita' del Progetto spots the abilities and develops the skills of each student to enable them to take up careers in Design, Communication and Editing.
In this college students are trained to face planning and programming positions, taking part in the elaboration of real and simulated problems and trying to find new solutions together with major firms.
Always being aware of the common approaches and standard solutions, Universita' del Progetto's aim is to stimulate and encourage a dynamic understanding of general culture and professional attitudes, rather than supply a standard professional knowledge.
At Universita' del Progetto there are no rigid subjects and disciplines : students work on Design and Communication areas following the logic of high level Design and Communication Mix. It is a planning environment rather than a planned structure.
Thanks to the limited number of students and richness of the everyday communication between tutors and students, the teaching programme of this college doesn't need a rigid scheme of disciplines and exams. Lessons and workshops are liberally chosen by the tutors who interpret disciplines in a subjective and very often innovating point of view.
Programmes and lessons vary each year according to a general cultural planning that grants a privilege to three main learning targets :
familiarity to communication and design (texts, pictures, objects, concepts);
knowledge and use of speech (theory, history, professional reading of objects/items, texts, media, radio and T.V. communication's techniques, advertising, publishing trade and social communication) ;
professional knowledge (direct encounters with the world of industrial production guaranteed by the firms that commission work to us, a period of training at the end of the course with agencies, studios, corporations,
editorial offices, firms, ...)
